Former President of the Nigerian Senate, Senator David O. Mark has vehemently condemned the renewed violent attacks in Benue, Rivers and Kaduna States, calling for an urgent strategy to halt prevent recurrence of the tragedies.
In his remark, The Benue State Senator, saidis reprehensible, barbaric and inhuman”.
Lots of worshippers in Omoku, Rivers State were also murdered in cold blood and about 50 were assassinated in a farming surburn of Benue State while a traditional ruler and his wife were gruesomely murdered in Southern Kaduna on the New Year day when majority of Nigerian families celebrate 2018.
David Mark lamented the senseless massacres across the land and urged security operatives to up their efforts to curb the menace, beckoning on security agencies to establish a working synergy for the restoration of peace, order and the safety to the affected regions and their suburbs.
Senator Mark condoled with the governments and people of Benue, Rivers and Kaduna States over the heinous crimes and asked them to step up measures needed to protect lives and property.
In his statement, the longest serving Nigerian senate president said “No matter the anger in a man’s mind, resorting to violence or taking another person’s life can only aggravate the situation. There are enough channels of mediation including the courts and the legislature to address perceived or alleged misdemeanor. Nobody has a right to take another man’s life needlessly. The law must take its course and perpetrators must not go unpunished. This lawlessness must not continue. Security operatives must do the needful to fish out the perpetrators. Nigeria is a nation govern by law. Every citizen is a stake holder and everyone has a right to life…Our governments must stand up for the people. Enough of this malady. We deserve to live in peace in our fatherland”.

Don Balon said there are reports in spain over Los Blancos wanting to sign Thibaut Courtois, Cesar Azpilicueta and Eden Hazard from the Blues.
